It is pertinent to mention here that Salman Khan faced threats to life from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang who is purportedly behind the murder of rapper Sidhu Moosewala.
Five grenades and two automatic pistols were also recovered from the possession of Deepak alias Teenu, a resident of Haryana's Bhiwani.
In a major breakthrough, Punjab Police and Delhi Police Special Cell arrested three absconding sharp shooter involved in Sidhu Moosewala murder case from West Bengal.
Punjab Police on Friday filed a charge sheet in a Mansa court in the famed Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala murder case and named jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi as the mastermind in the crime.
Notably it was Brar, a member of the Bishnoi gang, who had first claimed responsibility for Moosewala's murder.
The operation being carried out by the Anti-Gangster Task Force is going on at Bhakna village close to the Attari border, where gangsters Manpreet Singh, alias Mannu, and Jagroop Singh, alias Rupa, both the key accused in Moosewala's killing, were holed up.
The identity of the two accused shooters -- Santosh Yadav and Nav Nath Suryawanshi -- was revealed during the interrogation of their close aide, Sidhesh Hiraman Kamle a.k.a. Mahakaal, who was arrested from Pune during a joint operation by the Delhi Police and the Maharashtra Police.
Bishnoi came to headlines soon after the murder of Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh, popularly known as Sidhu Moosewala, allegedly on behalf of his gang, took place on May 29.
To terrorise Salman Khan, the threat letter said "Salim Khan, Salman Khan, bahut jald aapka Moosewala hoga,"
The Punjab Police had sought the Red Corner Notice against Brar on May 30 in connection with two old cases, officials said.
The police, however, did not divulge the details about the motive behind the killing of the popular singer and Congress leader and how Bishnoi conspired to execute the crime despite being lodged in the high-security Tihar Jail in the national capital.
Bishnoi is in the custody of the Cell, which is expiring Sunday and the police might seek an extension of the remand.
It is not just the residents of Moosa village in Mansa district of Punjab, even the gangsters who claim Sidhu was their close or 'brother by heart' are furious after his brutal murder on May 29.
The meeting was held at the Chandigarh airport.
Moosewala, 28, was shot dead on May 29 while he was travelling in a car and around a dozen assailants fired over 30 shots at him.
