One of the oldest Sanskrit schools in Odisha, Maharaja Sanskrit School in Koraput's Jeypore is reeling under neglect.It has five teachers who impart knowledge to 42 students in classes 8-10.But 42 is just a number. In reality, only a handful of students attend class.
The minister said several objections have surfaced over fixing of summer vacation in June instead of May.
Summer vacation will begin on June 6 and continue till June 16. The schools will reopen after the vacation on June 17.
