Bhubaneswar: High School students in Odisha will now don't have to run to Board of Secondary Education (BSE) office to get their documents as they can now apply for all the certificates online.

As part of the ongoing reforms to improve the quality of education in government-aided schools and higher secondary schools in the State, the Odisha Government has decided to provide various certificates and documents to students online, informed the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) in a tweet on Friday.

As per reports, students of various state-run high schools will be able to avail several documents like transfer and conduct certificates online from March 20, 2021.

The students from Classes IX to XII can get their documents online in the initial phase while the rest of the students can avail the facility in the later stage, said official sources.

Students can get the online facilities at Jan Seva Kendras in their respective panchayats.

The online initiative has been jointly developed by School and Mass Education department, Odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC), the Technical Directorate of E & IT Department and National Informatics Centre (NIC), Government of India, the Chief Minister's Office informed through the tweet.
