Manish today alleged that he had been ‘trapped’ along with his friend Avin Sahu in the case. Manish and Avin had been arrested by the officials of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on October 5 for alleged possession of 2.4 gm of Ganja (dry cannabis).
NCB Director, Mumbai Zone, Sameer Wankhede said the anti-drugs agency works professionally. "We do not see any political party and religion. We do our job professionally," he added.
As per national media reports, one of the accused, who has been arrested recently, belongs to Odisha. As per the reports, drugs have also been recovered from the accused in small quantities. The drug has been identified as Hydroponic Weed
