The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar has issued an advertisement for the recruitment of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Research Associate.
Encouraging the students for Startup program, Shri Vaishnaw informed that now India has 74 thousand Startups which were mere 4 hundred in 2014-15.

Five mega drinking water projects worth Rs 1,336 crore under the Odisha Mineral Bearing Areas Development Corporation (OMBADC) and Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) for districts like Mayurbhanj, Cuttack and Sambalpur have also received nod.
There is a 50 per cent increase in median salary to 24 lakh per annum (LPA) from 16 LPA of last year. The highest offered salary, so far, in this year is Rs 44.1 lakh per annum, he stated.
The IC was developed with the support of the Special Manpower Development Programme for Chips to System Design (SMDP-C2SD) of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, the statement said.

The number of MCM scholarship and free scholarship awardees shall be restricted to 25 percent and 10 per cent, respectively of the students admitted in each year. Already the process for online application has started from September 20 and the closing date is October 20, 2021.

The first year students examination will take a month and half more due to late admission and late starting of the semester across all the IIT's across the country. The spring end semester examinations of 2020-21 has been completed for all students on May 15.
