IIT Bhubaneswar invites applications to recruit JRF, project associate

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar has invited applications from eligible candidates for engagement as Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Project Associate.

The Project Associate will be engaged on purely temporary contract basis in time bound research project undertaken in the School of Basic Sciences.

Similarly, the JRF will be engaged on purely temporary contract basis in time bound research project undertaken in the School of Electrical Sciences.

IIT Bhubaneswar Vacancy Details

1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 1 Post

Name of the temporary research Project: “Design and Development of a Software Defined Radar for Road Safety Applications”

Name of the Funding Agency: Odisha Road Safety Society, Odisha

Emolument: Rs 31,000 per month

Duration of the project: 2 Years (30.03.2021 to 29.03.2023)

Duration of Appointment: For the period of one year or till the completion of the project whichever is earlier.

Selection Process: The selection process will be based on interview.

2. Project Associate – 1 Post

Name of the temporary research project: “Indigenous development of controlled interferometry based high temperature industrial flow measurement device.”

Name of the Funding Agency: DST

Emolument: Rs. 47,000 + HRA @16% per month

Duration of the project: 3 Years (01.03.2021 to 28.02.2024)

Duration of Appointment: 1 year which may be extended based on satisfactory performance.

Selection Process: The selection process will be based on interview.
