Kotia Panchayat in Koraput, which has been in the centre of a border dispute between Andhra Pradesh and Odisha, is all set to get its maiden ambulance service from Saturday.
An ambulance with a veterinary doctor and two assistants would arrive within a response time of 15 to 20 minutes.
In a citizen centric move, the Odisha Commerce and Transport Department on Monday fixed the maximum hiring charges for various types of ambulances services in the state.
