Adipurush, the last release of Prabhas got surrounded with controversies over various reasons. The movie turned out to be a debacle. Filmmaker Om Raut and dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir had to face brutal criticism for various reasons. After getting backlash for the 'cringe' dialogues used in the movie, the makers made the announcement to alter some of the dialogues.

Claiming that a conspiracy has been hatched to insult 'Hanuman ji' and other deities through 'Adipurush', Mishra slammed the poor usage of computer graphics for the main characters of the film.

A statement read: "Making this visual spectacle a memorable cinematic experience, the team decides to make alterations to the film's dialogues, valuing the input of the public and the audience."

Directed by Om Raut, the film is an epic mythological action film based on the epic 'Ramayana'.

Manoj Muntashir said that he has intentionally written cringe dialogues for the character of Lord Hanuman in Adipurush so that they are simplified.

The hype around the movie was quite high several days before its release. Even director Om Raut asked the film's producers to keep a seat vacant in every theatre in honour of Lord Hanuman. Meanwhile, a photo of the seat dedicated to Lord Hanuman has surfaced online.

Heavily inspired by Ramayana, Adipurush features Prabhas as Raghav (another name for Lord Ram) and Kriti Sanon as Janaki (Sita).

The Nepal Film Union has urged all the cinema halls in Kathmandu to stop showing 'Adipurush' and urged theatres outside the capital to release it only after assessing the security situation.

A major distributor, Dil Raju, has backed out of picking up the rights for the Telugu version of the Prabhas and Kriti Sanon-starrer in what is known as the Hyderabad and Uttarandhra regions in the film trade jargon (the latter including major centres such as Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam).

As per reports, he mentioned that even a husband and wife do not go to the temple together and that the director and the actress "can go to a hotel room and do it".

Although Prabhas has been linked to his Baahubali co-star Anushka Shetty and actress Kriti Sanon, he always maintained that he is just good friends with both actresses.

The final trailer starts with Saif as Ravana, who turned a 'bhikshuk' and approached Janaki (Kriti) begging for alms. After Lankesh kidnaps Janaki forcefully, he transforms into his original form. The next visual shows Jatayu falling down after his wing is cut.
