Everyone’s ‘Darling’ and Pan-India star Prabhas is one of the most loved actors in the film industry. With several superhit movies like ‘Varsham’, ‘Chatrapathi’, ‘Mirchi,’ ‘Darling’ and ‘Mr Perfect’, he has established himself as one of the highest-paid actors.

Prabhas' stardom skyrocketed after the stupendous success of ‘Baahubali’ series. However, his movies like ‘Saaho’, ‘Radhe Shyam’ and his latest release ‘Adipurush’ have turned out to be duds and affected his stardom.

The handsome hunk has been receiving a lot of flak for his portrayal as Lord Ram in ‘Adipurush’. The makers were also criticised for trying to modernise the epic mythological tale ‘Ramayana’.

Well, now reports suggest that Prabhas is once again going to play an important role in Project K, which is loosely inspired by Mahabharata. The movie reportedly is a modernised and adapted version of Mahabharata where Amitabh Bachchan plays Ashwatthama and Prabhas plays a version of Karna!

The science fiction is also reported to be based on the tenth avatar of Vishnu, which took place in Kalyug. Although the story of the Rebel Star’s upcoming movie sounds exciting, owing to the backlash for Adipurush, where Prabhas played Lord Ram, it is hard to say if fans will accept him as the modern avatar of Karna.

Meanwhile, rumours are rife that Nag Ashwin will unveil the official title and the motion poster of Project K. The movie’s official title and motion poster will be released in the United States at a grand event on July 3.

On the other hand, latest buzz is that veteran actor Kamal Haasan has been roped in to play the main antagonist in the movie.

Hopefully, Prabhas ups his game and his version of Karna in Project K impresses the audience this time.
