BUZZ: Prabhas once again in Ramayan movie, to share screen space with Ranbir Kapoor?

Tollywood's Rebel Star Prabhas starred in 2023's Adipurush, inspired by the Indian Epic Ramayana. However, written and helmed by Om Raut, the Indian mythological action film failed to meet the expectations of the audience and faced a lot of criticism for distorting the story. Now, moviegoers have pinned high hopes on Nitesh Tiwari's upcoming Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash and Sunny Deol in pivotal roles. Now, as per a recent buzz in the industry, the makers are in talks to bring Prabhas on board. 

A couple of days back, reports were abuzz that RK will be playing a double role in the movie, Lord Ram and Lord Parashuram, as both are the reincarnation of Lord Vishnu, as per the Indian epic. However, the current buzz suggests that the makers are planning to bring another pan-India star on board for Lord Parashuram's character. 

As reported by Cinejosh, Darling Prabhas has been approached by the makers to portray the powerful and majestic character of Lord Parashuram in the movie. 

While Prabhas' powerful screen presence and commanding stature will indeed elevate the craze, the buzz has raised many eyebrows considering the recent backlash the Baahubali actor received for Adipurush.

Well, if the buzz is anything to go by, the question remains if Prabhas will accept the offer or not after his recent bitter experience.

However, trade experts suggest that Prabhas coming on board will undeniably elevate the star power of the movie and turn it pan-India appealing.

Notably, the reports of RK playing a double role in Ramayana filled excitement among all. Fans expressed their opinions on the makers' decision as logically correct. Undoubtedly, Prabhas' presence would take the movie to another level and turn it massive. But, will the audience accept Prabhas in the role?
