Odisha CM Mohan Majhi launches dedictaed portal to monitor developmental projects

In a move aimed at enhancing transparency and monitoring of development works, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday launched a dedicated portal to track the progress of key infrastructure projects across the state. 

The portal will provide real-time information on projects related to roads, drinking water supply, sanitation, street lighting, parks, and other public utility services.

The Chief Minister said the initiative will enable easy access to project-related data at the click of a button, ensuring better accountability in implementation. The portal will cover projects funded under the State Finance Commission as well as the Central Finance Commission grants, allowing officials and the public to review progress at various stages.

During the event, the Sixth State Finance Commission submitted its final report to the Chief Minister. The report is expected to play a crucial role in strengthening grassroots governance and guiding future allocation of funds for local development.

Emphasising inclusive growth, CM Majhi underlined the importance of transforming infrastructure at the panchayat level. He stressed that development initiatives should directly improve the quality of life of people and ensure balanced progress in both rural and urban areas.

The launch of the review portal marks a significant step towards digital governance, aimed at accelerating project execution and improving service delivery across Odisha.
