Class 9 girl student ‘abducted’ in Bhubaneswar, no police breakthrough yet after 12 days

In a shocking incident, a Class 9 girl has reportedly been abducted from Bhubaneswar, leading her family to file a police complaint. According to reports, the girl went missing while attending the Dussehra immersion ceremony. Her family lodged a complaint at the Mancheswar Police Station, alleging that she was abducted from the Gadakana area.

The family alleges that the girl has been missing since October 3, and they approached the police immediately after finding her missing.

Despite registering the case, the Mancheswar Police have so far been unable to trace or rescue the minor girl. The family has expressed deep concern over her safety and urged the authorities to expedite the investigation.

Police officials have confirmed that a case has been lodged and search operations are underway, but details regarding suspects or motives have not yet been disclosed.
