Bhubaneswar: In a major boost to the creative students in the State, Odia short film 'Sambhabana' has been selected as the Best Odia Film at the Roshni International Film Award in Mumbai.

The three-minute film has been directed by a +2 student of BJB College, Anuska Priyadarshini, in Bhubaneswar.

The film is based on the struggle and resurrection of people hit hard by Covid-19. It was among 650 short films from different countries across the globe to be screened in the festival.

The movie earned high appreciation from the juries.

Earlier, Anuska had won the best debut director award for this film in an International Film Festival (CIFF) 2020 held in Bhubaneswar.
