Bhubaneswar: In a major development, Odisha government on Wednesday cancelled all the pending Plus II examinations in view of Covid-19 pandemic.
Informing about the development, State School and Mass Education Minister Samir Das said “Due to the situation arising out of Covid-19, it is not possible to conduct the pending Plus II examinations scheduled to be held from March 23 to 28."

Das said marking of subjects which the students have already appeared will be conducted as per the assessment process adopted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
"In case a student has appeared exams in 5 papers, his average mark will be decided based on his top 3 performances while if a student has managed to sit for 4 papers, his average will be figured out from the top 2 scores," Das said.
"If the students are not happy with their marks, they can appear for improvement examination after the Covid crisis eases. We will try to publish the results by July 31," the minister added
