Bhubaneswar: Odisha Television Network Ltd (OTL) has moved up to 13th position in all-India rankings overtaking TV Today Network and ABP Network, according to Broadcast Audience Research Council's (BARC) network-level performance for the month of August 2020.

In July 2020, BARC had ranked OTV 15th among the networks in India.

The achievement is even more significant as OTV is the first and the only Odia language network to enter the list of Top-15 networks.

Taking to social media, OTV Managing Director, Jagi Mangat Panda conveyed her gratitude to the people of Odisha for bestowing their love and support on the state’s most-viewed news channel. “We owe this to all our viewers. We will continue to do our job, giving Odisha the best.” read her Facebook post.

Known for its unbiased reporting and high standards of journalism, OTV has carved a niche for itself. It is credited for pioneering mass media in Odisha eventually becoming the most followed and trusted media house in the State.

OTV's journey started in 1997 and from a cable TV channel, it is now the top media house in Odisha not only among satellite channels but also on the digital platforms.
