Bhubaneswar:The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Tuesday accused the Odisha government of trying to hijack the National Food Security Act, which guarantees food for poor people in the country.

"The BJD-ruled Odisha government is trying to hijack the central government scheme which provides Rs.4,000 crore per year to the state," said BJP spokespersons Sameer Mohanty and Sajjan Sharma in a press statement.
