Cuttack: The Commissionerate of Police arrested seven members of a criminal gang including two students, said the Police Commissioner RP Sharma on Thursday.
Besides, a kidnapped medicine representative Suresh Dash was rescued from the arrested criminals, Sharma added.
The criminals were demanding a ransom of Rs 10 lakh from Dash’s family to release him, Sharma added.
The police seized two pistols, cartridges, cash and three bikes from the possession of the arrested persons, the police official added.
