Dhenkanal: In a tragic incident, three were killed when a car in which they were travelling hit a truck head-on near Balramprasad in the town Friday morning.
The deceased were identified as Sarveshwar Sahu, daughter Om Ishwari Kabi and driver Kiran Bhukta and were residents of Talcher.
Eyewitnesses said the car had a head-on collision with the truck and fell into a pothole on the side of the road.
Locals have been alleging that around 100 km on NH 55 has been an accident-prone area due to poor condition of the road.
