Bhubaneswar: The School and Mass Education Department on Thursday decided to shut three floors of its annexure building after detection of COVID-19 positive case.

In an order, the department has informed that the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floor of the annexure building will be shut down from 12 AM of September 3 till midnight of September 6, for disinfection activities.

“The School and Mass Education department now functioning in the said floors will remain closed during the period,” the official order read.

Earlier on Tuesday, the authorities of Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) had decided to restrict the entry of visitors to Biju Bhavan and Bikash Bhavan after detection of COVID-19 cases. The restrictions will remain in force for a period of fifteen days.

Besides, the entry of public to the office of Deputy Commissioner of Police (Cuttack) has also been restricted for a period of seven days.
