Bhubaneswar: The admission into various Plus-II courses at higher secondary schools across the state began today and will continue till September 26.

In view of the pandemic, all necessary arrangements have been made at campuses so that the admission can be done following all COVID-19 guidelines.

Moreover, the students, who want to opt slide up process, can apply online from September 21 to 29 after admission.

The second merit list for +2 admission will be declared on October 3.

The School and Mass Education department had published the first phase cut-off list for admission into Plus-II courses in different institutions across Odisha on Friday.

With 89 percent, Ravenshaw Junior College in Cuttack has the highest cut-off mark for admission into +2 science stream followed by 88.6 percent in BJB College, Bhubaneswar and 86.67 percent Nilakantha Nagar Saraswati Sisu Mandir, Berhampur.

Similarly for commerce courses, Ravenshaw Junior college has the highest cut-off mark at 75.83 percent followed by Rourkela’s Government Junior college (75.5 percent), while at BJB Junior college in Bhubaneswar it stands at 74 percent.

The cut-off marks for admission into +2 arts courses at Ravenshaw Junior college has been fixed at 72.5 percent, followed by 71.83 percent at BJB college, Bhubaneswar and Government Junior college, Rourkela at 67.83 percent.
