Koraput Boat Tragedy: Bodies Of 2 Youths Fished Out, One Still Missing

Koraput: After a massive search operation, the Odisha Disaster Rapid Action Force (ODRAF) team on Tuesday fished out the bodies of two of the three youths, who went missing after a boat capsized in Jalaput Reservoir here on Sunday. One person is still missing in the mishap.

The youths, whose bodies were recovered, were identified as Manoj Hantala and Prashant Khara. However, Chitra Khara is still missing.

Notably, five youths of Padua village had gone in the reservoir on Sunday. They were enjoying a boat ride in the reservoir when the country boat capsized.

While two youths managed to swim ashore, three others had gone missing. The duo remained tight-lipped about the incident and disclosed about the incident on Monday evening.

Soon after the revelation, a massive search operation using power boats was launched on Tuesday to trace the three missing youths.
