Ganjam: District Collector of Ganjam, Vijay Amrut Kulange has appealed to the people to remain alert and maintain practicing sanitation protocols during the forthcoming Durga Puja festival to control the spread of novel-Coronavirus infection in the district.

It has been observed that there has been a decline in corona cases in Ganjam district. This implies that the people of the district have to continue to put in efforts in order to control the virus and flatten the curve, stated Kulange.

The district collector has urged the people to follow the guidelines issued by the government and preferably celebrate Durga Puja indoors, in their own premises.

With the winter season about to make onset in the country, the collector said that the chances of virus spread might also increase, thereby, it is necessary for people to take care of their wellbeing and others to fight the pandemic.
