Domestic Violence Case: Court Issues Notice To BJD MP Anubhav Mohanty

Cuttack: The Cuttack Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate (SJDM) court on Monday issued a notice to BJD MP Anubhav Mohanty in connection with the domestic violence case filed by his wife & Ollywood actress Varsha Priyadarshani.

The SJDM court has directed Mohanty to file his reply in connection with the case. The next hearing on the matter will be held on November 12, sources said.

In her petition, Varsha had also sought maintenance from Anubhav.

The actor-turned-MP too had filed a divorce petition against wife Varsha in July this year for allegedly being denied conjugal rights.

Varsha Priyadarshini, subsequently had moved the Supreme Court urging transfer of the divorce petition filed by her husband at Delhi’s Patiala House court to a family court in Cuttack. The court had recently issued summon to the actress to appear in person in connection with the matter.
