Diploma Students Can Appear 6th Semester Exams On Android-based Smart Phones

Bhubaneswar: The State Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training today informed that students can appear for the 6th Semester exams online using their Android-based smartphones.

In a notification, the council said, "... considering the present COVID-19 scenario and to discourage unwanted movement, it is decided that the students who do not have laptop or desktop computers can also appear the said online exams using Android-based Smart Phones from their house."

However, internet connectivity is to be ensured by the students concerned. The students, who do not have any facility of laptop/ desktop computer or Android mobile phones or having Internet connectivity problem, can avail the option of visiting nearby designated exams centre of their district to appear the exams, the notification read.

The council further directed principals of all Polytechnics to inform all the students concerned to prepare for the online exam.
