Bhubaneswar: Two weeks after Leader of Opposition Narasingh Mishra called on AICC vice president Rahul Gandhi reportedly to discuss the change of guard in party, Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president Prasad Harichandan on Friday met Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi. Mishra also met senior party leader BK Hariprasad.
Soon after the hour-long meet, Prasad told media persons, “We discussed about the ensuing panchayat polls in the State and organisational affairs.”
Meanwhile speaking on the change in leadership in Odisha Congress Suresh Kumar Routray said All India Congress Committee (AICC) President Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi have strong faith on OPCC chief Prasad Harichandan.
Routray stated that that Congress will contest in the Panchayat polls under the leadership of Prasad.
