Cuttack: A 10-member House committee of the State Assembly led by Pravat Ranjan Biswal arrived in the city today to oversee the status of ongoing projects.
Soon after its arrival, the committee went to Sikharpur Square and reviewed the construction work of a flyover bridge. From there, the committee members went to Goshala area in Nua Bazar and inspected the construction work of a bridge there besides interacting with the construction staff and officials.
The team later reviewed the underground drainage and sewerage work being undertaken in the city by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
After winding up its field visit, the team will have a review meeting with the Cuttack collector at the collectorate.
The committee would later submit its report in the State Assembly.
