Bargarh: A tourist from Chhattisgarh was killed while seven others were injured in a road accident near Bhatli in Bargarh district in the wee hours on Monday.
The mishap occurred at around 6 am today when all the tourists from Raygad Ambrapali were returning after visiting Puri Srimandir. The car rammed into a pillar after its driver lost control.
All the injured were first rushed to Bargarh hospital and later four women, who sustained critical injuries in the accident, have been shifted to Burla.
The condition of the four women tourists is said to be critical.
