Dhenkanal: The leaders and members of the three major political parties, including BJD, BJP and Congress left no stone unturned to woo the voters in their favor as the campaigning for the Hindol Notified Area Council (NAC) in Dhenkanal district concluded today.
While some leaders took out rallies, others opted for door-to-campaign for seeking the support of the residents of the 16 ward town.
"People have faith on Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and the party. We are hopeful that the part will win in most of the wards of the NAC," said Nrusingha Sahu, BJD district president.
"Money doesn't matter for the voters. The voters here did not supported the saffron party earlier.
While BJD had two councilors, we won one seat, this year we have the support of the people," said Bibhuti Pradhan, BJP district president.
"While the empire of Prime Minister Narendra is declining, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik reign has developed cracks, the people of Hindol have decided to vote for all the Congress aspirants in the 16 wards here," said senior Congress leader Sura Routray.
Notably, at least 647 voters of the 16 ward town will decide the fate of the candidates in fray to the Hindol NAC scheduled on April 3.
