Bhubaneswar: The massive blast at a filling station on Wednesday morning near the Raj Bhavan left a gory scene with mutilated body parts strewn around the spot, claimed witnesses.
According to witnesses at the spot, mutilated body parts including limbs, hand, ear, fingers could be seen lying scattered in the area following the blast.

According to official sources, the deafening blast left nine people injured who were admitted to Capital hospital for treatment. However, as per the Director of the Capital Hospital, two critically injured persons among the nine have been shifted to Srirama Chandra Bhanja Medical College (SCBMCH) in Cuttack for further treatment.
Bhubaneswar DCP Uma Shankar Das said, “We have no reports of any casualty so far. We are yet to ascertain the reason behind the fire. The road from AG square to Governor House (Raj Bhavan) has been sealed and locals have been asked not to venture out of their houses for security reasons."
