Bhubaneswar: Another MLA in Odisha has tested positive for COVID-19. This time, Polsara MLA Srikant Sahu has contracted Coronavirus infection.
Confirming this, the legislator informed that he along with his wife have tested positive for the virus. So far, four MLAs in Odisha have been found infected with COVID-19.

Earlier, Sudhansu Sekhar Parida, the BJD legislator from Remuna constituency had tested positive for COVID-19. He had reportedly came in contact with BJP MLA from Nilagiri, Sukanta Kumar Nayak who was the first legislator in the State to get contracted with the viral disease.
Similarly, lawmaker from Salipur in Cuttack district, Prasat Behera was also tested positive for COVID-19 in the State.
In another development, five employees of Odisha Assembly also tested positive for COVID-19. Speaker SN Patro informed that the proceedings of the Odisha Legislative Assembly will remain suspended till July 31. Meanwhile, the Assembly will reopen on August 4 owing on account of holidays.
