Thunderbolts are extremely dangerous and can cause severe injuries or even be fatal. When lightning strikes directly to a person it can cause cardiac arrest, severe burns and other grievous injuries. Lightning generally strikes tall objects, open fields, water and metal objects. The possibility of a person getting struck by lightning is higher in such conditions. Only lucky people can escape from thunderbolts. Recently, a video of a young girl surfaced on social media that shows her narrowly escaping from extreme thunderbolts, while she was filming reels on the rooftop.
As the video shows, the girl is dancing in the monsoon rain and reportedly filming reels for social media. The 11-second clip shows the girl dancing joyfully amidst heavy rain.
The girl identified as Saniya Kumari hails from Bihar's Sitamarhi and is seen dancing on the terrace of her house while it's raining heavily. Suddenly, a bolt of lightning hits the terrace of her neighbour's. The thunderbolt hit so close that it terrified the girl. She swiftly flees from the terrace leaving her mobile behind. She miraculously escaped the lightning strike.
Notably, as per media reports, at least eight people died after being struck by lightning in six districts of Bihar in just the last two days.
While the original source of the video couldn't be obtained, it has taken the internet by storm. Netizens are sharing the video massively and it has drawn mixed reactions from netizens on social media.
