Amid the heartbreaking visuals from war-torn Ukraine, a heartwarming video is now going viral on social media in which a Ukrainian can be seen proposing to his partner.
In the video, the Ukrainian emergency rescuer is seen getting down on his knees and proposing to his girl in the midst of the sounds of sirens. While the man is delighted during the special moment, the girl bursts into tears and hugs him.
The clip has been shared by one Anton Gerashchenko on Twitter. Sharing the video, Mr Gerashchenko wrote, "This is our life now - we joke about "war-life balance". This rescuer was saving people, now he is proposing. The siren wails for danger, now it sounds in joy."
Anton, whose bio says he is the advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, further wrote: It is all intertwined, and no one's life is untouched by war in Ukraine.
The video, posted on July 30, has so far garnered over 183 retweets and 1,867 likes. Watch the video below:
Commenting on the video, a Twitter user wrote, " Thank you for sharing this, sir. Makes my heart leap. Russia does not have enough brutality and sadism to break (Flag of Ukraine) people.
