Cheetah is known to be the fastest animal on land and a predator with the highest success rate. Though these big cats are carnivores and can easily tear apart their prey with their sharp canine, they don’t pose a threat to humans.
Cheetahs are not aggressive and don’t attack humans unless they perceive a threat. At the same time, the probable threats can’t be ignored. But, here we bring a completely different story that will win your hearts.
In the video, a wildlife photographer can be seen close to a cheetah lying down on the ground. The photographer helps the big cat to drink water after pouring some on his palm from a bottle. The cheetah calmly licks the water.
As mentioned in the scroll on the video, the photographers found the cheetah at a reserve with an injury. It seems the big cat got exhausted from lying under the sun for a long time, and due to the injuries.
Further, the scroll read the photographer and his colleague took him to the rescue station. The cheetah underwent treatment and it was successful. After recovery, the wild cat saw the photographer while in a cage and turned into a little boy after recognising him. Later, the big cat was released into the wild.
Later, when they met again, the cheetah jumped into the photographer’s arms without hesitation. In the video, the cheetah can be seen walking towards its rescuer while the photographer is busy clicking photos. Further, the video claims that whenever the photographer comes to take pictures, the cheetah escorts him.
The gestures of the cheetah towards the photographer clearly indicate that the wild animal is expressing gratitude to its rescuer for being kind and treating its injuries after the rescue.
The video shared on Twitter by Hakan Kapucu has gone viral on social media and amassed over 3.5 million views. Netizens have massively reposted the video and showered likes along with flooding the comments section with red heart emoticons.
