In India, trains are getting more and more crowded every day. Recently, there was another viral video on social media showing just how bad it is getting.

In the video, people were hanging onto the sides of the train like Spider-Man just to get on board.

The video showed a man and a woman trying to get onto a train that was already jam-packed.

The man helped the woman get inside first, pushing her through the crowd to the stairs.

Then, he jumped onto the lower steps himself, trying to make a little space for them.

What’s really worrying is that they were doing all this from the side of the train opposite to the platform.

It was clear that safety was not their top priority; they just wanted to catch that train.

After the video spread online, lots of people shared their concerns on social media. It is a reminder of how serious the overcrowding issue is on Indian trains.

As one user commented in this video, “I don’t know who needs to hear this, but the overall conditions of trains and train journeys are deteriorating rapidly.”

Another user pointed out, “Indian Railways may be making improvements, but safety issues remain a significant concern.”

Yet another user emphasised, “Let’s focus on fixing the basic infrastructure before aiming for premium services.”

Additionally, a commenter suggested, “Rather than introducing new trains, we should prioritise upgrading existing trains, tracks, lines, signals, anti-collision systems, and manpower to world-class standards. Superfast trains are unnecessary if the basics aren’t in place.”

These comments reflect the widespread frustration and concern among netizens regarding the state of train infrastructure and the dangerous situations people face while attempting to travel.
