Amazon employee dies of heart attack on wedding mandap, video goes viral

In a heartbreaking incident, a joyful occasion turned tragic when a man suffered a fatal heart attack on stage while presenting a wedding gift to the bride and groom. The incident occurred in Penumada village of Krishnagiri mandal of Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh.

The deceased has been identified as Vamsi who worked in Amazon, Bengaluru.

Sources said, Vamsi along with a group of his friends had been to attend his close friend’s marriage ceremony. Shockingly, he suffered a fatal cardiac arrest on stage while greeting the bride and the groom, reported The Siasat Daily.

A video of the incident, showing the tragic collapse of Vamsi, was caught on camera and has been going viral on social media platforms. The clip begins with the groom and the bride surrounded by people cheering as they open a gift packet, gifted by their friends.

Vamsi, dressed in a grey T shirt and similar colour jeans, is also seen standing among the group of friends and cheering for the newly-wed bride and groom. The entire atmosphere is filled with laughter and cheers.

However, the festivity turns gloomy after Vamsi suffers pain in his chest and signals for help with his hand. He then loses his balance and collapses on the ground. Other guests and his friends try to help him, but in vain.

He is seen leaning slowly towards the left as guests catch hold of him and rush him to Dhone City Government Hospital. However, doctors at the hospital declared him brought dead. The shocking incident has gone viral, sparking concerns on the rising cases of heart attack among youngsters.

This is among the many heart attacks deaths reported in the recent few days. A month back, a popular singer collapsed on stage while performing at a programme organised on the occasion of Durga Puja in Koraput district of Odisha.

Murali Mohapatra, a clerk by profession was performing on the stage when he suffered heart attack. Even Bollywood singer KK had died in a similar fashion due to suspected cardiac arrest during his live performance at an event in Kolkata.
