Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo is set to expand its foldable smartphone lineup with the anticipated launch of the Vivo X Fold 2 in April, followed by the Vivo X Flip, the company’s first foldable phone with a clamshell form factor.

Vivo X Flip’s large cover display was revealed in leaked images that surfaced on Weibo, a Chinese microblogging website.

According to Digital Chat Station, the X Flip is expected to have a much larger outer display that may take up more than half of the outer portion of the phone.

The cover screen is also expected to be in landscape mode, making it more useful.

The Oppo Find N2 Flip may have a display of similar size to the one available if measured diagonally.

The round-shaped camera module will be placed under the display and may include at least two camera sensors, with rumours suggesting a 50MP primary camera and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens.

The Vivo X Flip may have a diamond pattern design and is expected to be available in purple, similar to the variants of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, Flip 4, and the latest Oppo Find N2 Flip.

The smartphone is also rumoured to feature a 6.8-inch inner display and the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
No tentative release date or other details have been mentioned about the Vivo X Flip.

However, this latest addition to the foldable smartphone market is expected to be a game-changer, offering users an innovative and versatile device.
