“Sure, I have no hesitation to enter rehab, because until I have my family with me, I’m not afraid of anything, anybody. I will complete it and return. I will come back,” said Kambli during a recent interaction.

Kambli’s financial state is currently in a mess. He is also currently grappling with serious health ailments. As per Kambli’s own admission, his only source of income now is BCCI’s monthly pension of   Rs 30,000 per month.

With two kids to look after, Kambli, who has already been to rehab 14 times previously, is willing to give it one more go to improve his physical and financial conditions.

Notably, Kambli made headlines about two weeks back when his visuals during the unveiling of Ramakant Achrekar’s memorial emerged. The former southpaw looked to be seriously struggling. His actions led to speculations among the fans and experts about his severe health condition.
