Shikhar Dhawan admits to falling in ‘Love at first sight’, watch

Indian men’s cricket team's 'Gabbar' aka Shikhar Dhawan hogged the headlines due to his marital discord a couple of months back. Though Dhawan parted his ways from his wife Ayesha Mukherjee long back, the duo never opened up publicly until recently when Dhawan finally broke his silence and talked about his failed marriage. 

However, once again Gabbar is back to the headlines, but not for the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). As it seems, cupid has struck Gabbar once again.

Recently, a video has taken the internet by storm in which Dhawan admits to falling in love once again and the love was at first sight.

As it seems from the video, a camera is planted secretly in a room and the recording mode is on. Dhawan enters the room and offers cookies to a person ‘RK.’ 

However, refusing to take cookies, ‘RK’ immediately asks Dhawan to reveal more about someone he (Dhawan) earlier discussed.

Dhawan questions, “When my life was going through a dull phase, and everything changed after that?”

RK says, “Yes, then you were in Delhi and you went to Arora, it happened over there!”

Dhawan starts, “Yes, it was Arora’s party at his farmhouse. It was then when we first met there.”

“Was it a ‘love at first sight’ moment?” asks RK.

Dhawan continued, “Certainly, I had never experienced such clarity in life. I looked and was just stuck. I listened and just continued to listen.”

Further, RK inquired about what happened next and when they met again.

However, the video gets interrupted with only text reading “Such a beauty yaar, so attractive,” flashes on the screen.

While Dhawan again confirms, it was love at first sight, the video gets interrupted again. 

Later, Dhawan continues, “You know me very well. Within two days we were at home. As soon as I realised the compatibility, there is no reason to wait. It’s time to leave the past and move on.”

Though there is no confirmation of which ‘love’ Dhawan talked about, this video has triggered excitement among fans.

Earlier in the interview when Dhawan opened up about his failed marriage , he said that he doesn’t want to blame anyone else because he had made his own decisions. Moreover, Dhawan also talked about remarriage saying that he will be able to identify the kind of woman he wants to spend his life with.

Notably, Dhawan married Melbourne-based amateur kickboxer Aesha Mukherji in 2012 after falling in love. Ayesha already had two daughters from her first marriage. Dhawan and Aesha had a son, Zorawar, in 2014. However, the duo parted ways in September 2021.
