Super Cup 2025
The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has announced that the prestigious Super Cup, now officially named the Kalinga Super Cup, will be hosted at Bhubaneswar’s Kalinga Stadium.
The tournament is scheduled to commence on 18th April and will conclude on 28th April, 2025.
The Kalinga Super Cup will bring together the best football clubs in the country, high-intensity action for fans and further elevating Odisha’s stature in the sporting landscape.
The tournament is the cup competition in Indian football, with teams from the top two divisions of Indian men’s football— Indian Super League (ISL) and I-League — competing for the title.

The winner previously secured a spot in the AFC (Asian Football Confederation) Cup, but now, it gets a berth in the inter-zonal play-offs of AFC Champions League 2, the second tier of Asian continental football.
The Super Cup succeeded the Federation Cup in 2018, and three of its last four editions have taken place in Bhubaneswar.
Its official name changed to Kalinga Super Cup in 2024, with East Bengal winning it in extra time, beating defending champion Odisha 3-2 and securing its first trophy in 12 years.
Though the last edition was played in groups followed by knockouts, there have also been talks of changing the format in the upcoming editions.
"The tournament will happen in Bhubaneswar, but the other details (exact dates and format) have not been decided yet. It will be finalised in the next few days," said an AIFF official.
