Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Odisha again this month towards the end of February. President of the Odisha unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Manmohan Samal informed that the Prime Minister may come to Odisha tentatively on February 28.

Speaking to the media, Samal said, "The Prime Minister will first go to Puri to have darshan of Lord Jagannath and will later address a public meeting at Chandikhole. However, the exact date of his visit will be finalized soon.”

Moreover, the BJP leader added that the Prime Minister will dwell upon a host of Central schemes and urge the party workers and leaders to reach out to people by conducting door-to-door visits to apprise them of the Modi guarantee.

Many other Union Ministers and BJP leaders will come calling to the state in the next few days, he added.

Samal also said that Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will come to Odisha to attend party programmes on February 22 in Ganjam, Nabarangpur, and Mayurbhanj districts. 

It may be recalled that Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Sambalpur on February 3 and inaugurated, dedicated to the nation, and laid foundation stones for projects worth more than Rs 68,000 crore.
