The Odisha Mahila Congress will chalk out strategies for women voters ahead of the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, said All India Mahila Congress chief, Alka Lamba in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.

Lamba, who is on her maiden visit to Odisha, said that women in Odisha are being deceived in the name of empowerment.
“Rahul Gandhi had recently come to Odisha during his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. He had imparted the guru mantra to the party workers. As per his suggestion, women and the women leaders of the Congress in Odisha will be told about the strategies,” Lamba added.

The Congress leader also said that the executive body meeting of the Odisha unit of the Mahila Congress will be held and it will be re-constituted.
