BJP’s National Vice President and party’s Lok Sabha candidate for Kendrapara, Baijayant Panda gave success mantras to workers at a meeting held in the Kendrapara Assembly constituency on Monday.

With the elections around the corner, the saffron party has intensified its campaigning in the Kendrapara constituency. As a part of it, a meeting was organised where party workers of Jamadhar, Chakroda, Bhagabatapur, Shyamsundar, Gulnagar and Bharatpur areas participated. Panda and the party’s Kendrapara Assembly candidate Geetanjali Sethi discussed about the party’s strategies with the workers.

While giving success mantras to workers, particularly the newly inducted ones, Panda appealed to them to strengthen the party’s organisation by taking the Modi government’s pro-people yojanas to the booth level.

In their addresses, both the Lok Sabha and Assembly candidates urged party workers to bring a double-engine government for the development of Odisha.

“The workers are excited and in election mode. From women to youths to elderly persons want Modiji’s double-engine government. In Odisha, there will be double engine government and in Kendrapara, we will emerge victorious with huge margins,” said Sethi.

Later in the day, the former block chairperson of Pattamundai, sarpanch, samiti members and hundreds of BJD workers joined the BJP at a ‘mishran parva’ organised at the party office in Kendrapara in the presence of Baijayant Panda and Geetanjali Sethi.

The newly inducted members said they have joined the BJP after being inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s pro-people agenda.

At the event, emphasis was laid on strengthening the party’s organisation at the booth level and making people aware of the Modi government’s welfare schemes.
