Youth 'murdered' in Khordha, old enmity suspected

In a gruesome incident, a youth was allegedly murdered by a group of assailants at Sandhapur area in Khordha late Thursday night.

The deceased has been identified as Manas Dalei, who was a resident of Nuagaon area under Jatni police station. Dalei was discovered by police in a pool of blood late last night.

Immediate Response By Police 

Upon receiving the information, local police swiftly arrived at the scene and shifted Dalei to the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Bhubaneswar. Despite the urgent medical attention, doctors declared Dalei dead upon arrival.

Investigation Underway

Preliminary reports suggest that Dalei was lured from his residence under unknown pretences before facing his tragic demise. The police have not yet ascertained the motive behind the act, but early suspicions hint at a possible connection to existing rivalries.

The police have launched a comprehensive investigation to uncover the details surrounding this grievous incident.

However, it has been learnt that no written complaint has so far been lodged at the police station by the family members.
