Sudarsan Pattnaik welcomes PM Modi to Odisha for DG-IGP conference with his sand art
Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created a sand sculpture to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is scheduled to come to Odisha on a three-day visit for the DG-IGP conference in Bhubaneswar beginning today.
Pattnaik created a sand sculpture of PM Modi and Amit Shah with a message that read, ‘Welcome to Odisha’ – at Puri beach on Friday.
“PM Narendra Modi ji always gives top priority and promotes the art, culture, tradition and age-old heritage of Odisha in every platform. He also has high regards for artists like me. So, whenever he comes to Odisha, I make sure to give him the best welcome through my art,” sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik said.

This is not the first time that Sudarsan Pattnaik has displayed his love and respect for PM Modi. Earlier, Pattnaik had created a sand art congratulating PM Modi after his third consecutive win after the humongous win in General Elections 2024.
“Abhinandan Modi Ji 3.0”- Sudarsan’s message then read accompanying a congratulatory note that inscribed ‘Viksit Bharat’.
Recently, Sudarsan won the Golden Sand Master Award with a gold medal at the International Sand Sculpture Championship held in St. Petersburg, Russia.
