Mo Bus services to be affected in Bhubaneswar due to DG-IGP Conference
Mo Bus services will be affected in Bhubaneswar from November 29 to December 1 in view of the three-day DG-IGP conference beginning today.
“Mo Bus route nos. 9,10,11,12,AE1, AE2,13,17,20,21,22A,23,25,26,27,28,30, 31, 32, 36, 37, 38, 39,40, 44, 46,47, 64 & 66 may be affected from 29.11.24-01.12.24 owing to traffic restrictions due to administrative exigency,” tweeted Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT).
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and a host of other dignitaries are scheduled to attend the conference to be held at the Convention Centre of the Lok Seva Bhavan in Bhubaneswar from November 29 to December 1.
The Twin City Commissionerate Police has issued an advisory to public on their movement in view of the security concern of the VIPs and VVIPs, who will be attending the three-day conference. As a result, Mo Bus services will be affected in the Capital City.

Commissioner Police has stated that the decision will ensure better regulation and free flow of traffic. The public has been requested to plan their route accordingly to avoid congestion on the roads where restrictions have been imposed.

No vehicles are allowed to ply from Airport residential Chhak to ‘T’ junction (pani Tanki Chhak) on November 28 and 29, the Commissionerate Police stated.
By virtue of the power conferred under section 28 of the Odisha Urban Police Act 2003 (Odisha Act 8 of 2007) and in pursuance of the Regulation 36 of the Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Police Commissionerate (Traffic and Public Order) Regulations 2008, the Commissioner of Police has imposed the restriction.
