Subhadra Yojana: Eligible beneficiaries to get phone calls if any error found in registration form, says Odisha DY CM

The second phase of Rs 5,000 disbursement under the first installment of the ambitious Subhadra Yojana was credited directly to the accounts of the beneficiaries on October 9 as a Durga Puja gift by the Odisha government.

However, several women are yet to receive the first installment and are currently in a state of dilemma. Thousands of beneficiaries who are deprived of their money have expressed grief over the non-payment. 

Meanwhile, Odisha Deputy CM Pravati Parida has assured that the first installment will continue until the last of the applicants gets her money. She assured that every eligible beneficiary deprived of their money would receive a call from the government.

“We will continue to credit the Subhadra money until the last of the beneficiaries gets her money. As promised, we will ensure that the Subhadra scheme reaches every deserving woman in the state. Those deprived will get their money in the third phase. We will announce the date soon,” Deputy CM Pravati Parida stated.

“Till now at least 1 crore 60 thousand women have registered themselves. There are enough funds to provide to every applicant. Many have been deprived of Subhadra benefits due to some glitch during the registration process or maybe some other reasons. We will make a call to them all and understand their problems. There will be verification at the block level. Anganwadi workers also have been directed to conduct a door-to-door survey and analyse beneficiaries who have been deprived of their money,” the Deputy CM stated.
