As per reports, Cuttack police are actively investigating these incidents. However, as of yet, the perpetrators have not been apprehended.

“When I was on my way to Cuttack to bring fish for business purposes, as many as three bike-borne miscreants attacked me and looted money from me at gunpoint,” said a victim.

Earlier this month, armed burglars had looted money and gold ornaments from a family at gunpoint at Angarakh village under Aul police station in Kendrapara district.

The family members suffered severe injuries as the robbers also attacked them with sharp-edged weapons during the loot bid.

The burglars terrified them by showing guns and looted some net cash and gold ornaments worth over Rs 5 lakh from the house by breaking open the lockers of three almirahs.
