Ratna Bhandar reopening: Panel not dissolved rather replaced, says Odisha Law Minister 

The political scene in Odisha has intensified following the state government's decision to replace a committee overseeing the inventory of Lord Jagannath's valuables. Senior BJD leader Pramila Mallick criticized the move, suggesting ulterior motives, while Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan defended the decision, emphasizing prompt action by the new committee.

Political atmosphere in Odisha has charged up after the state government constituted a new committee to supervise the inventory of valuables of Lord Jagannath and His siblings stored in Puri temple’s Ratna Bhandar by dissolving the Justice Arijit Pasayat-led panel set up by the previous BJD government.

Senior BJD leader and Opposition chief whip Pramila Mallick said this has been done with an ulterior motive.
