PKDA issues notice to business establishment to stop illegal construction
Throwing rules to the wind, government lands have been illegally encroached at Hadigohiri area under Puri Municipality.
Even making things worse, a business establishment is constructing a three-storey building on the encroached land.
It has been alleged that a business establishment identified as Nayak Plaza has been carrying out illegal construction on the illegally encroached land.
As per reports, Puri Konark Development Authority (PKDA) has issued a notice to the owner of Nayak Plaza-Girish Nayak in this regard.
As per sources, it has been learnt that the three-storey building is being built without any permission and planning from Puri Konark Development Authority.

The construction of the building is being carried out at Plot numbers, 924, 1442 and 144 at Daitapada Sahi.
Puri Konark Development Authority has issued a notice to stop the illegal construction work immediately. The owner of the business establishment has also been directed to be present before PKDA in person by December 17.
“We have issued a notice to the business establishment pertaining to the illegal construction work. He has been asked to submit the plan-related documents. If he fails to submit the relevant documents, necessary actions will be taken as per the provision in law,” said PKDA Secretary Mayadhar Nayak.
