A woman has filed a serious complaint against an Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) officer, accusing him of love, deceit, and betrayal. The incident has been reported from Sadar police limits in Jagatsinghpur district. As per the allegations of the woman, the youth was in a relationship with her, engaged in physical intimacy, and even forced her to terminate the pregnancy.

Additionally, she claimed that the officer secretly married her but later abandoned her after successfully becoming an OAS officer after qualifying for the Odisha Civil Service examination conducted by the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC).

Feeling betrayed, the woman has lodged a complaint at the Jagatsinghpur Sadar police station. The complainant, who belongs to a tribal community from Keonjhar, stated that despite filing a report, the police have not taken any action yet.

Allegations By Victim:

“We were in class 6 since when we developed a relationship. After he joined the postal services, he married me but never introduced me as his wife. A fissure developed in our relationship ever since he cleared the civil services examination. He forced me to terminate my pregnancy thrice. I seek justice,” the victim said.

OAS Officer’s Father Responds:

Meanwhile, the accused officer’s father has denied the charges and said the allegations are baseless.

“The woman is my niece. Her complaints are baseless and she is trying to frame my son. Ever since my son joined OAS, she is forcibly trying to marry him,” the OAS officer’s father said.

While the police said that an investigation into the allegation is underway, no comments from the OAS officer could be obtained over the matter.
